Merry Christmas!

It has been a brilliant year for the charity, and it is now the perfect time to celebrate all our hard work. The website will be updated shortly with our end of year review - the summary of our work, actions and fund raising efforts of 2014. We are very pleased with the progress made in 2014 in the world of stillbirth in Wales, with considerable changes being shown in attitudes towards stillbirth in Government.

We are also excited to announce our newest team member (and my daughter), Amy Martin, who will be heading up Media & PR for the charity. She has several years of experience managing corporate media accounts, and will help develop awareness and to promote fund raising through social networks, website development and PR management. I believe the use of social media, as illustrated by the 'no make up selfie' trend, can be transformative for small charities and can make real changes to the perception of serious health issues. As we know, reluctance to talk about health issues creates a challenge to change- and through social media we aim to start the conversation on stillbirth.
